Joanne L. Barros lives with her husband, John, in Surfside Beach, South Carolina, where she writes about her adventures with Cooper and Milner, her family’s real-life rescue Coonhounds who she affectionately calls “the boys.”
From the Sierra Nevada Mountains in rural California to the salt spray of the Eastern coast, Joanne has built an incredible life with her family of four. With a deep-rooted belief in the magic of stories, she is passionate about celebrating friendship, family, and children’s universal love for animals.
